Wang Xiyu overcomes Hruncakova in three sets to make Guangzhou semis
Wang Xiyu reached the fourth tour-level semifinal of her career, first since Cluj-Napoca 2022 and first on home soil with a hard-fought win over lucky loser Viktoria Hruncakova in the Galaxy Holding Group Guangzhou Open quarterfinals. Wang improved to 4-0 against Hruncakova, including two three-set wins in the past month.
